Inventory Management

Inventory Management is a dashboard and analysis tool that provides fuel managers a forward-looking and continuously adaptive view of fuel inventory and delivery risks across a network of sites
  • Prevent Costly Run-outs: by comparing predicted run-outs to future planned fuel deliveries, fuel managers can make corrections to their fuel plans before revenue is lost or cost to change become too expensive
  • Manage Risks / Opportunities: by continuously reviewing fuel plans to reflect the latest inventory data, fuel managers can be more precise with their fuel plans to adjust to market changes or run-out / retain risk
  • Track Performance: fuel supervisors can oversee how effective their dispatch teams or fuel suppliers are managing inventory replenishment
  •  Minimize excess fees and costs associated with retain or run-out conditions
  • Identify equipment problems by seeing when manifolded tanks are not distributing fuel assets correctly
  • Assess the effectiveness of fuel replenishment operations and identify mis-managed sites
  • Efficiently scale operations by using an exception-based dashboard and data visualization

Inventory Analysis

  • Monitors hourly inventory changes and continuously analyzes historical trends / patterns
  • Generates a forward looking estimate of the inventory trend / pattern and identifies key exceptions based on user-defined thresholds

Delivery Risk Analysis

  • Compares current delivery plan against the site’s continuously adapting inventory forecast
  • Identifies deliveries that pose risk for arriving too early (retain risk) or too late (run-out risk) and generates an alert and customer notifications

Usage Planning

  • Provides calendar-based tools for fine-tuning future forecast assumptions
  • Enables pre-planning for future events that will affect and diverge from a site’s typical sales / demand patterns
  • Enables users to remove historical events (e.g., anomalies) from forecast algorithms
  • Prevent Business Disruption - Ensure run-outs do not disrupt fuel and C-store sales
  • Minimize Run-out/Retain costs - Eliminate excess fees / costs due to retain or run-out conditions
  • Identify Equipment Problems - Know when a manifold tank is not distributing the fuel correctly across its related asset
  • Supervise Fuel Operations -Assess the effectiveness of your fuel replenishment operation and planning; identify mis-managed sites
  • Scale Operations - Monitor large fuel networks efficiently using exception-based dashboard and data visualization
